Graduation Party Headquarters – the San Francisco Bay Area

Reward Those Hardworking Graduates!

They’ve studied, put their noses to the grindstone, and worn out about five thousand pencils in thirteen years. Don’t they deserve a grand celebration and congratulations? Yes! Yes, they do. The San Francisco Bay Area is just rife with places to go, things to do, and people to see.

For many graduates, this isn’t the end of the education road for them. It’s a jumping point to higher learning, and they’re going to have another four to ten years of education ahead of them depending on their goal. Don’t you think one of these party places is just the thing to reward them for a job well done? And to let them blow off steam before they start studying, nose to the grindstone again, and wear out another five thousand pencils!

Sailing, sailing, over the bounding main…..let’s consider a cruise! The San Francisco Bay is a wonderful place for a cruise, with the City lights and majestic Golden Gate Bridge as backdrop. There are several ship lines available for private parties, and two at the top of my list are the Red & White Fleet and City Experiences.

City Experiences offers a variety of packages to surely fit your needs. Imagine the fun to be had with the graduates and their friends dressed to the nines, enjoying a delicious dinner, and dancing to the tunes they love. Your graduate and their friends and/or family will enjoy delicious food, live entertainment, and a beautiful view of San Francisco Bay. Or maybe an ‘Alcatraz Behind the Scenes Tour’, or Bay Discovery Tour is the thing? What a memorable party! Check out their website for more experiences they have to offer.

The Red & White Fleet, in business for over one hundred thirty years, offers Private Party boat charters. Let them help you plan your graduation party extraordinaire! They’ll coordinate lunch, dinner, snacks, sweets, ice cream, and beverages. If dancing is what the graduate loves to do, they also offer live bands, DJs, and Karaoke. If you have specific ideas you want to implement, let them know and see what they can do. The Red & White Fleet is there to make their graduation party one to remember. Check out the website here.

Batter Up! There’s also something for the sport’s minded graduate. A Giant’s Baseball game in Oracle Park is just the thing. They have a variety of options for buying group tickets to sit in the stands together, or to reserve a suite for a grand graduation celebration. Check with the Suite Office to make a reservation, and to find out if you can get there early to decorate. Remember though, make your reservations early! Check out their website here.

Fun in the Sun! If your graduate loves sand, sun, and surf, the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is the place to go. They have a variety of options for group discounts, private events and throwing a party on the beach. The graduates can also enjoy the screaming thrill of a vintage roller coaster, as well as competing on the arcade games. What graduate wouldn’t enjoy fun in the sun and sand between their toes at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk? Only thirty minutes from San Jose, south over Highway 17, and the fun begins! Don’t forget the suntan lotion! Check out their website here.

Shopping, anyone? If your graduate wants an intimate get together with friends, but not necessarily a party, what would be better than a day at a classy shopping center? Many local shopping centers are like little villages, giving your graduate and their friends the opportunity to spend several hours walking, talking, laughing over a good meal… and buying gifts for themselves!

Plan this excursion for your graduate by visiting either Santana Row, or Westfield Valley Fair. Purchase gift cards in advance for the stores and restaurants, and imagine the fun of giving them each an envelope containing gift cards for Starbucks for a Mocha Machiatto or Frappuccino, a Salon for a manicure, a lovely open air Café for lunch, and a clothing or specialty shop to splurge on a present they get to pick out themselves. Why not have an Uber Black or limo transport them? What a memorable day for your graduate and their friends!

Whatever you decide, remember what a wonderful time of their lives this is, and what a wonderful send-off to new and exciting adventures this will be! You’ll enjoy planning it as much as they’ll enjoy living it. Oh, and while you’re at it, pat yourself on the back for helping them graduate, and give yourself a graduation present too!
